Overview of Key activities:

•Work in accordance with engineering drawings.

•Fit small parts, pipes, probes, syphon tubes, steam channels.

•Use a wide range of hand and handheld power tools and workshop machines such as drills, grinders, clamps, benders, lifting and hydraulic equipment.

•Meet and maintain production outputs with the correct quality.

•Clean and maintain an orderly work area to 5s standard.

•Perform other duties as deemed necessary and requested by the Supervisor.

•Communicate effectively with other workers to direct personal workflow.

•Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye protection, hearing protection and safety shoes. Loose fitting clothes and jewellery are not permitted.

The Essential requirements are as follows:

•Applicant must be a qualified Trade Tested Boilermaker Artisan.

•5 years post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment.

•Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings.

•Must be prepared to work shifts and/or overtime and/ or swing shifts at short notice.

•Be prepared to complete an assessment and interview process.

•Valid Overhead Crane License will be advantageous.
