a Position of Assistant Director: Procurement is currently available.

This is a 6 Month Contract and salary offered is R380k

The suitable person must available to start immediately.

Key Skills required is:  PFMA and PPPFA, Procurement / Supply Chain Management.

3-5 Years experience specialising in Sourcing. 1-2 Years must on a Supervisory Level.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute procurement activities withing SCM
  • Ensure implementation of SCM policies and the review thereof
  • Administer tender administration and ensure the execution of tender procedures
  • Evaluate and prepare reports related to procurement activities
  • Ensure implementation of SCM related audit recommendation
  • Perform follow-ups on management action plans
  • Provide input into SCM plans, methodologies and framework

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Procurement
  • 3-5 Years relevant working experience
  • 1-2 Years experience on a Supervisory Level
  • Extensive knolwedge of the PFMA and PPPFA
  • Ability to manage procurement activities

Package & Remuneration

R380k per annum
