Client Details:

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing technical leadership / accountability for design and implementation of major products / subsystems in a solution.
• Ensuring technical viability of solutions and change requests.
• Identifying, resolving and mitigating technical issues and risks.
• Creating / validating work estimates and skills required to assist the lead architect.
• Coordinates with development and test teams to keep the deliverables on target and on time.
• Manages technical customer interactions from kick off through UAT.
• Guide customers through the requirements gathering, designing and documentation process.
• Mentoring other project members to increase their understanding of the customer and technology.
• Providing feedback to the solution engineering team for improvements, market trends and product issues.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business

 

Relevant Skills / Experience:

• 7 years' software development and application implementation experience.
• Senior design experience in Unix and database applications.
• Telecommunications industry experience.
• Technical project management experience.
• Agile methodologies experience.
• Broad understanding of business technology, telecom networks and data structures.
• Strong design skills with ability to document the designs.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex problems.
• Ability to suitably adapt communication based on the audience, e.g. technical vs. management.
• Ability to prioritise effectively within and across one or more assignments.
• Ability to travel domestic and international for extended duration onsite based on requirements of the project.
• Non-standard work hours may be required and the ability to be on-call.
