Description
Starting date: 01 October 2023 (or soon after)
Thomas More College seeks to employ a dynamic, inspired and aspirant Afrikaans educator.
Responsibilities
- has a track record of academic excellence and relevance in teaching Afrikaans;
- has a minimum of 5 years’ experience of teaching Grade 12 Afrikaans (IEB experience would be preferable);
- is informed of latest developments and best practice in the teaching of Afrikaans FAL;
- collaborates openly and keenly with colleagues, both within the department and across subject disciplines;
- values the tenets of detailed and accurate planning and administration;
- will participate as a coach/manager in the school’s wellness and/or cultural programme.
