A Demand Planner is needed to join a dynamic team.
Location:

Qualification:
- B. Com/B.Sc degree in disciplines such as Statistics, Economics, Business Management, Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Related Supply Chain National Diploma (eg: SAPICS CPIM) would be advantageous.
Experience and Skills:
- Exhibit skills in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- At least 5 years' relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Strong knowledge of demand planning within CPG industry
- Expert skills in demand management/forecasting tools, and forecasting methods incorporated with sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain factors
- Detail and accuracy oriented
- Hands-on experience in demand planning
- Experience interacting with a sales, finance, and marketing departments with regards to inventory and commercial activities such as market demand trends, product seasonality, promotional campaigning, etc.
- Experience in forecasting and inventory management systems
- Nice to have: Experience in Blue Yonder Supply Chain software
Responsibilities:
- Developing weekly and monthly statistical forecasts.
- Relating and measuring the impact of forecast accuracy.
- Assemble and analyze all data relevant to creating the consensus forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, inventory policies and profiles, etc.).
- Make recommended adjustments to generated statistical forecast based on changes in demand and market trends.
- Reviewing recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals (emphasis on product/segment objectives, new product introduction, and promotions).
- Analyses historical demand and remove anomalies (including outliers) from the norm using historical information, knowledge of the category and through receiving input from the relevant functional departments (Sales and Marketing).
- Review sales plans, finance budget updates or latest estimates and demand drivers.
- Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance departments in support of the S&OP process
- Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product / customer and location hierarchy.
- Identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to forecast accuracy and the demand planning process.
- Collaborate closely and build good relationships with Sales and Marketing to build a best possible monthly forecast view that is also incorporating any key market intelligence as well as NPD's (new product developments)
