Description

Due to our clients Equity requirements a female will take preference for this position. Essential that you live in the surroundings of Midrand. You will have experience working within a warehouse environment and not in the main office.  This is a hands-on position. You will be responsible for receiving, warehousing and distribution of white goods and FMCG products while ensuring compliance to the Groups requirements in terms of Safety, Hygiene, Quality and Distribution.

  • Matric and relevant tertiary education
  • 3 years + experience in similar role
  • FMCG / Food sector experience essential
  • Experience with fine picking not bulk picking
  • Experience with an ERP system
  • Shipping documentation and clearance experience essential
  • 3PL distribution experience

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, investigate and resolve store stock queries
  • Process store corrections for stock balance
  • Prepare credit notes based on received process packs
  • Process stock adjustments on weekly basis
  • Process claims for courier account based on procedure
  • Receive and manage queries involving replacements and order adjustments
  • Receive and resolve finance queries regarding credit on accounts
  • Monitor pick face process and assist to clear process issues

 

  • Receive and communicate all trade orders to receive approval for processing
  • Manage trade order process on trade partner dedicated portal
  • Issue Trade Bill of Materials
  • Manage bookings with trade partners and courier in order to ensure accurate delivery
  • Receive and resolve Trade Partner queries with regards to stock, pricing and invoicing
  • Liaise with Trade partners regarding returns for credits and process credit notes
  • Invoicing for stock movements internally

 

  • Manager requests to get new codes added to the ERP as received.
  • Track shipments and liaise with Freight forwarder
  • Prepare costing files for shipment received & GRV
  • Liaise with HQ, Dubai & Freight forwarder regarding documents
  • Arrange and facilitate Port Health and Agricultural inspections on new shipments received to receive clearance
