An excellent opportunity starts here  for a Financial Manager within the Manufacturing industry.

My client has a staff compliment of 500 employees and is currely the leading furniture manufacturer in SA.

We are looking for a individual thats hands on not affriad to get involved you must have stock ,WIP and bill of materials expereince and be able to run a team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing the process of timeously and accurate financial reporting, including but not limited to: Monthly management accounts
• Forecasts Budgets Managing of day-to-day financial operations through directly management of the finance department employees and indirect involvement in operations, including but not limited to:
• Cash management (daily) Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Product costing (BOM’s)
• Oversee the administrative processes in other operational departments (review, analyse and Monitor operations, budgets and operating policies)
• Monthly reporting of the financial performance to the EXCO Budget preparation and management thereof Maintain and improve internal control environment through management and implementation of policies & procedures
• Manage annual financial audits as well as oversee the preparation of the annual financial statements Banking activities
• Oversee and manage capital investments (capex) KPI measurements for all direct report employees Provide training and guidance to all direct report employees
• Lead the finance team

• 5+YEARS EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING AS A FM (Nothing less) Accounting degree – (CIMA advantageous) Strong exp in manufacturing environment ERP admin–(Syspro)
